Product Description - EDB24045 - Square D Bolt-On Circuit Breaker

Schneider Electric / Square D's EDB24045 bolt-on molded case circuit breaker is a reliable and easy-to-install device designed for use in Square D NF Panelboards. This circuit breaker is CSA-rated, HID-rated and HACR-rated, and UL Listed as High-Intensity Discharge.

The EDB24045 is a 2-pole bolt-on circuit breaker, rated at 45A at a system voltage of 480Y/277V AC. The circuit breaker has a thermal-magnetic trip unit and a signal indicator to indicate when a trip occurred. The device has a hold current of 270A (the maximum current the breaker can be held at to ensure a trip will occur) and a trip current of 875A (the current value when the breaker is guaranteed to trip).

Square D's EDB24045 circuit breaker is calibrated for 40 degrees C and has aluminum lugs with a terminal lug rating of AWG 12...AWG 6 (aluminum) and AWG 14...AWG 6 (copper).

I wish I could give 10 stars but the max here is 5 stars.

I searched so many stores and many more and they all had the Siemens breakers that I needed out of stock and priced sky high but luckily for me I found this company, who not only had the breakers in stock, they had the lowest price for crying out loud. I received 4 breakers on the second day of placing the order and it seemed like Siemens shipped it directly as the quality was mint and outstanding, beating all the big box stores out of the box. I highly recommend as they helped me when no other store could. 10 stars
