I had a combination surge protective device / Dual - SP breaker that failed. This was the exact replacement part I needed. As a retired Master Electrician, I have high standards for the electrical systems in the retirement home I am remodeling and require an SPD in each panel.
I just tried to install this breaker and it wont fit in my panel. I have other QT breakers in the panel but this breaker don't seem to have a deep enough slot to catch the bus bar. It lines up and slides into place but it stick out further than the rest of the breakers which makes it so my dead front wont go on. Im not sure if I bought the wrong one or not. Im not sure how to get the right breaker.
